Trevor Elliott

Recruited from Seymour, Trevor Elliott was a tall follower who stood 191cm, providing a strong aerial presence during his brief time in the VFL. He initially broke into the league with Essendon, playing seven games across two seasons before returning to the bush to play for Seymour in 1959. Elliott was lured back to Melbourne in 1960 by Footscray with the prospect of playing alongside his brother, Morrie, though the pair never played a senior game together at the Western Oval. While Morrie moved on to South Melbourne, Trevor became a solid contributor for the Bulldogs, adding 23 games to his tally over two seasons. He eventually departed the VFL to forge a successful career in regional Victoria, most notably captain-coaching Gerang-Kiata to three premierships in the Wimmera League.
