Bio
A product of Melbourne’s Goulburn Valley country zone, Trevor Rollinson was recruited from Shepparton after winning the club’s Best and Fairest award in 1968. He enjoyed a seamless transition to senior VFL football, playing 17 games in his debut season and quickly finding a niche in the Demons' defence. Standing 180cm, Rollinson was a sturdy backman who often lined up alongside cult figure Ray Biffen, tasked with repelling opposition attacks during a difficult on-field era for the club. Despite his promising start as a regular selection, his opportunities dwindled over the subsequent four years, and he eventually departed the VFL at the end of 1973 to join Hastings in the Mornington Peninsula league.
