Bio
Recruited from Rushworth in the Goulburn Valley, Trevor Rowlands faced the difficult task of breaking into the Collingwood lineup at the dawn of the club's famous 'Machine' era. He made his debut against Melbourne at the MCG in Round 2 of the 1927 season, but opportunities were scarce in a squad destined for four consecutive premierships under Jock McHale. Rowlands managed just one further senior appearance two weeks later against Fitzroy before drifting out of the side, his brief VFL career serving as a testament to the immense depth of talent at Victoria Park during that dominant period.
