Bio
Recruited from the Geelong Falcons with pick 50 in the 2010 National Draft, Troy Davis was a strong-bodied key position player hailing from Kerang. His start at AFL level was significantly delayed by a thyroid condition that sidelined him for his entire first season, leaving him to earn his stripes through the VFL with the Casey Scorpions. While drafted primarily as a spoiling defender known for his physical competitiveness and affectionately dubbed "The Beast" by club insiders, Davis struggled to break into the senior side during a tumultuous era for the Demons. He was eventually handed a debut late in the 2013 season where he was swung forward, managing to boot a goal in his second and final appearance against Fremantle. Despite his perseverance to reach the top level, Davis was unable to secure a permanent list spot and was delisted at the conclusion of the season.
