A product of the Sunshine Coast and the Brisbane Lions Academy, Ty Gallop was secured by the club with pick 42 in the 2024 National Draft after the Lions matched a bid from Geelong. The 194cm key forward is defined by his strong contested marking, competitive aggression, and ability to crash packs, offering a dynamic target inside 50. His debut season in 2025 proved extraordinary; after breaking into the senior side against Adelaide in Round 13, he retained his place for the finals campaign and notably booted three goals in the Preliminary Final victory over Collingwood. Gallop capped off this rapid rise by playing in a premiership victory in just his sixth career game, establishing himself as a central figure in Brisbane's long-term attack.
