Bio
Tyler Sellers earned his place on the North Melbourne list via the 2024 Pre-Season Supplementary Selection period (SSP) following a breakout season with the club’s VFL program. Originally from Old Scotch in the VAFA, the strong-marking key forward impressed at state league level, finishing runner-up in the North Melbourne VFL best and fairest to force his way into senior contention. Sellers made his AFL debut against Geelong in Round 5, 2024, presenting as a tall target inside 50, but he found the step up in intensity difficult to navigate in a struggling lineup. He managed just two senior appearances before returning to the VFL, and despite his proven goal-kicking ability in the seconds, he was delisted by the Kangaroos at the conclusion of his sole season on the senior list.
