Bio
Recruited from Essendon Town in the VFA, Vic Hambridge was a diminutive winger who showed flashes of potential during a brief stint at Victoria Park. Standing just 168cm and weighing 64kg, he was a lightweight outside player who relied on pace and agility rather than physical strength to impact the contest. While he impressed onlookers in his initial outings during the 1906 season and showed he could hit the scoreboard, he struggled to lock down a permanent place in the Magpies' starting 18. After managing only a handful of games across two years, he departed the VFL system following the 1907 season to return to his original club in the Association.
