Stats
Bio
Recruited from Castlemaine in central Victoria, Victor Jackson was a tall addition to the Collingwood squad for the 1912 season. At 185cm, he possessed the physical attributes of a key position player or follower, offering significant height in an era where such size was a distinct advantage. He made his debut in the opening round against Melbourne at the MCG and managed two subsequent appearances early in the year, but found it difficult to cement a place in a powerful Magpies lineup that would eventually reach that year's Grand Final. Unable to break past the club's established stars, his time at the top level was brief, restricted to a three-game stint in his solitary VFL season.
