Bio
Vin Arthur was a handy utility who split his VFL career between St Kilda and Carlton during the interwar period. Originally hailing from Prahran and recruited via Richmond District and Drouin, he arrived at the Junction Oval in 1926 but crossed town to Princes Park midway through the following season. Wearing the number 30 guernsey for the Blues, Arthur became a reliable contributor capable of drifting forward to hit the scoreboard, though his career was interrupted by a season-long absence in 1929. He returned to feature heavily in Carlton’s strong campaigns of the early 1930s but ultimately missed out on a spot in the club’s 1932 Grand Final side before hanging up his boots the following year.
