Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Christian Brothers and East Melbourne ranks, Vin Kenney’s entire VFL career was encompassed by a single long weekend in the middle of the 1912 season. Standing 178cm, the young utility was brought into the Tigers' lineup for the grueling King’s Birthday fixture, making his debut against Essendon on the Saturday before backing up just two days later for his second and final appearance on the Monday holiday. Despite the rapid-fire initiation, Kenney was unable to impact the scoreboard or retain his place in the side, departing the league almost as quickly as he arrived with a unique legacy of having played his whole career in the span of 48 hours.
