Stats
Bio
A teenage recruit who broke into the Footscray senior side during the 1935 season, Vince Hamilton was a small utility suited to a role as a roving forward. Standing 175cm, he was built for crumbing at ground level and rotating through the forward pocket, managing to boot two goals during his brief time at the elite level. Despite earning a run of six games as a 19-year-old, he struggled to cement a permanent spot in the Bulldogs' starting lineup against experienced competition. His VFL career was ultimately short-lived, concluding after just a single season at the Western Oval.
