Stats
Bio
Born in the small Western District town of Mailor's Flat, Viv Parkinson was a mature-age recruit who made a fleeting appearance for St Kilda during their dismal 1910 campaign. Standing just 170cm, the diminutive rover arrived at the Junction Oval almost on his 28th birthday, drafted into a winless lineup that was firmly en route to the wooden spoon. He debuted in Round 9 against eventual runners-up Carlton at Princes Park, followed by a narrow nine-point loss to University the following week. Parkinson managed a single goal during his brief two-game tenure before departing the VFL scene almost as quickly as he arrived, returning to country Victoria where he eventually settled in Horsham.
