Stats
Bio
Recruited from Newtown in the New South Wales league, Wally Minogue was a rare interstate arrival at the Western Oval during the early 1930s. Standing just 168cm, the diminutive rover and forward pocket made an immediate impression, debuting in the opening round of the 1931 season. He became a regular fixture in the side over the next three years, utilising his low centre of gravity and nippiness around the contest to pinch-hit on the scoreboard. Despite establishing himself as a serviceable small man who could drift forward and snag a goal, his VFL career was relatively brief, concluding after just three seasons and 38 games.
