Stats
Bio
Hailing from Horsham in the Wimmera, Walt Wollermann was a physically imposing figure who arrived at Essendon as one of the heaviest players in the league. Weighing in at over 100 kilograms—a massive size for the era—he offered the Dons a readymade physical presence capable of throwing his weight around in the ruck or forward contests. He broke into the senior side midway through the 1933 season and showed glimpses of his utility by booting two goals against Footscray in Round 12. However, his time at the elite level was fleeting, with his VFL career concluding after just nine games in a single season before he departed Windy Hill.
