Bio
Recruited from Balwyn, Warren Holyoak was a mid-sized prospect who earned an immediate call-up to the Hawthorn senior side for the opening round of the 1954 season. Making his debut alongside future club legend John Peck, he held his place in the team for the first seven weeks of the year as the Hawks looked to rebuild under coach Jack Hale. While he did not feature at VFL level after that initial run of games, Holyoak remained a committed figure in the grassroots game, eventually serving as a life member for the Balwyn Junior Football Club (now Greythorn) in the decades following his league career.
