Bio
Standing 194cm, Warwick Green was recruited from Wesley College as a ruck prospect for St Kilda in the late 1980s. He found senior opportunities limited at Moorabbin, serving as a fringe tall and managing just nine appearances across three seasons as the Saints looked to climb from the bottom of the ladder. Unable to secure a permanent spot in the 22, Green's playing career concluded without a goal to his name, but he remained deeply embedded in the football industry long after his retirement. He forged a successful path as a prominent sports journalist for The Age and the Herald Sun, eventually earning acclaim as the co-author of powerful autobiographies for football legends Jim Stynes and Neale Daniher.
