Bio
Wil Antrobus is a polished general defender who elevated his draft standing during a standout 2026 campaign. Representing the Dandenong Stingrays in the Talent League and Vic Country at the National Championships, the half-back proved a key contributor for a Stingrays outfit that charged into the Grand Final. Antrobus firmly put his name on the radar with a dominant round nine performance where he generated immense drive out of defence, before continuing his excellent form in September. He was named best afield in Dandenong's preliminary final victory over the Eastern Ranges and earned a national combine invite for his efforts.
A steady and reliable rebounding defender, Antrobus is lauded for a penetrating and accurate left boot that breaks the lines. Scouts note his polish makes him the ideal designated kick-in player, allowing him to set up his side's transition from the back half. His ability to pinpoint targets and distribute the ball effectively has seen him become a major weapon on the rebound. Compared by draft experts to the likes of Daniel Rich and Josh Hunt, Antrobus enters the draft widely rated as a top-40 prospect.
