Stats
Bio
Recruited from the North Ballarat Rebels with pick 72 in the 2008 National Draft, William Young was a tall utility capable of playing at either end of the ground. He broke into the Adelaide senior side in late 2010, making his debut against the Western Bulldogs and playing two consecutive matches as a forward where he kicked his solitary career goal. Despite possessing strong athletic attributes and a competitive nature, Young struggled to maintain a place in the Crows' best 22 and spent the majority of his four-year tenure developing in the SANFL with Norwood, where he often featured in defence. Unable to force his way back into the senior rotation, he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2012 season.
