Bio
Recruited from the local Carlton District side, Willis Hardy made a brief cameo for the Blues during the player shortages of the First World War. A diminutive rover, he was thrown straight into the action for the opening round of the 1917 season against Fitzroy, where he managed to boot a goal on debut at Princes Park. Hardy held his spot for the subsequent clashes against Collingwood and Richmond, but his VFL career proved short-lived, concluding after just three consecutive appearances in the navy blue before he drifted out of the senior side.
