Bio
Recruited from VFA club Brunswick, Wolfgang Dietrich was a tall utility who made a brief cameo at North Melbourne during the 1970 season. Standing 185cm, he broke into the senior lineup in Round 3 and held his place for five consecutive matches, showing a surprising ability to find the football for a player of his size. His most notable performance came in just his second game against South Melbourne, where he gathered 22 disposals and took six marks in a heavy loss. Despite this promising ability to win possession, Dietrich was omitted after Round 7 and did not add to his game tally, departing Arden Street at the end of the year.
