Bio
Recruited from South Bendigo, Wyn Murray wasted no time establishing himself at Melbourne, missing just one match across his first two seasons. A left-footed half-back flanker, he provided solid service in defence and was highly rated enough to represent the VFL against South Australia in 1933. Despite this representative honour, Murray found himself in and out of the senior side during the latter stages of his stint at the MCG. He eventually departed for the VFA, where he joined Preston and later claimed a club best and fairest award.
