Bio
A crafty small forward recruited from Werribee, Zac Banch was snapped up by North Melbourne with pick 2 in the 2025 Mid-Season Rookie Draft. Originally from Yarrawonga, Banch built a reputation as a creative livewire in the state league, notably setting a VFL record for score assists before playing in Werribee’s 2024 premiership side. He made his AFL debut as the sub against Sydney in Round 19, 2025, but quickly endeared himself to the Kangaroos faithful with his defensive pressure and courage, highlighted by a spectacular Mark of the Year nomination against St Kilda just weeks later. After booting his first career goal in the final round of the season, Banch signed a contract extension for 2026 as he looks to cement a permanent spot in North’s attack.
