Bio
Recruited from the Western Jets with pick 72 in the 2017 National Draft, Tristan Xerri spent his early years at North Melbourne patiently developing behind club legend Todd Goldstein. Frustrated by a lack of senior opportunities, he requested a trade to St Kilda at the end of 2021, but remained at Arden Street after negotiations stalledโa circumstance that eventually allowed him to flourish in royal blue. A combative ruckman distinguished by his aggressive tackling and ability to act as an extra midfielder at ground level, Xerri assumed the number one ruck mantle in 2024 and immediately rewarded the club's faith with a breakout season that earned him the Syd Barker Medal. Having transformed from a depth player into one of the competition's most physically imposing ruckmen, he now serves as a foundational pillar of the Kangaroos' midfield unit.
