Bio
Noah Williams is a diminutive but ruthless inside midfielder who began his junior pathway at Bell Park before moving to St Joseph's, where he won an Under 16 premiership. Progressing to the Geelong Falcons in the Talent League, the fierce ball-winner earned selection in the AFL National Academy and spent a week training with the Geelong Cats during the preseason. He proudly represented Vic Country at the National Championships, although his draft year was hampered by injuries, including a knock against the Allies that later ruled him out of physical testing at the national draft combine.
Williams initially put his name in lights as a bottom-ager, claiming best-on-ground honours in the 2025 National Futures match on Grand Final day. Scouts praise his speed, smarts and contested work through the middle, noting he thrives on-ball and models his aggressive game on Joel Selwood. While capable of rotating as a small defender, he has drawn attention for his natural ball-winning traits and competitive drive. Initially touted as a top-five or top-10 prospect heading into 2026, Williams is now widely rated as a late first-round or top-30 selection ahead of the national draft.
