Bio
Recruited from the Gippsland Power with pick 47 in the 1998 National Draft, Adrian Cox was a skillful left-footed utility who could play through the midfield or off a half-back flank. He established himself as a key young contributor during Hawthorn's 2001 season, playing 20 games and featuring in the side's run to a preliminary final. Despite his precise kicking and early potential, Cox battled persistent injury setbacks and inconsistency that prevented him from fully consolidating his place in the lineup. Unable to recapture his best form in subsequent years, he was delisted by the Hawks at the end of the 2004 season.
