Bio
Recruited from local side Barwon, Alf Horman was the youngest of three brothers to don the hoops, following his older siblings James and George into the Geelong senior side. He earned his call-up late in the 1906 season, making his debut in a Round 14 clash against South Melbourne at Corio Oval. Though his VFL career was fleeting, limited to just two games as the Pivotonians struggled for consistency, Horman managed to hit the scoreboard with a goal during his brief tenure in the forward lines. He bowed out of league football after a heavy defeat to Collingwood just weeks later, concluding the Horman family's collective contribution to the club's early years.
