Bio
Recruited with pick 11 in the 2006 National Draft, Andrejs Everitt arrived at the Western Bulldogs as the athletic younger brother of ruckman Peter "Spida" Everitt. Initially deployed as a slender rebounding defender, he struggled to cement a regular spot in a Bulldogs side that was consistently reaching preliminary finals. In search of greater opportunities, Everitt was traded to Sydney at the end of 2010, where his versatility was tested at both ends of the ground. While he featured in the Swans' 2012 campaign, he remained on the fringe of the best 22 during the club's premiership window and was eventually moved on to a third home, Carlton, during the 2013 trade period.
It was at Carlton that Everitt produced his most consistent football, effectively reinventing himself as a mobile medium forward who could utilize his elite endurance to work opponents over. His capacity to act as a link-up player and finish accurately saw him top the Blues' goalkicking in 2015 with 31 majors. Despite being a reliable contributor during a lean period for the club, he became a casualty of Carlton's aggressive list rebuild and was delisted at the conclusion of the 2016 season, ending his career as a respectable three-club journeyman who adapted his game to survive in the system for a decade.
