Bio
Recruited from the Gippsland Power with pick 30 in the 2023 National Draft, Archer Reid arrived at West Coast as a long-term prospect for the club's key position stocks. The younger brother of Essendon defender Zach Reid, he stands at an imposing 203cm, possessing the height to pinch-hit in the ruck but primarily operating as a deep forward target with strong overhead marking ability. He made his debut in 2024 as the Eagles looked to blood youth during a significant rebuilding phase, managing to impact contests aerially despite his developing frame. Entering the 2026 pre-season, Reid remains a high-potential tall focused on building the physical resilience required to command a permanent spot in the West Coast attack.
