Fantasy

Recruited from Subiaco with pick 63 in the 2017 National Draft, Ben Miller served a lengthy apprenticeship in the VFL before breaking into the senior side. The athletic tall waited nearly four full seasons to make his debut in late 2021, spending his formative years developing his craft behind Richmond's established premiership-winning defensive unit. Primarily a key defender capable of utilising his impressive vertical leap to spoil or intercept, Miller also carved out a niche as a versatile utility who could pinch-hit in the ruck or swing forward when required. While initially operating as a depth option, he gradually became a reliable fixture in the Tigers' backline, providing essential structural stability as the club entered a regeneration phase and navigated injuries to key defensive personnel.
