Stats
Bio
A hard-running tall midfielder from the Bendigo Pioneers, Billy Evans was recruited by Brisbane with the fourth selection in the 2015 Rookie Draft. Evans offered a big body at the contest and the versatility to drift forward, having impressed recruiters with his goalkicking form at TAC Cup level. He broke into the senior side late in his debut season, playing five games and showing glimpses of his defensive work rate, highlighted by a seven-tackle effort against Hawthorn. Despite being elevated to the senior list the following year, he struggled to cement a regular spot in the Lions' midfield rotation, adding just two more appearances in 2016 before being delisted. Evans subsequently continued his state league career in the VFL with the Box Hill Hawks.
