Bio
Recruited from the Calder Cannons with pick 79 in the 2002 National Draft, Bo Nixon was a midfielder who faced difficulty breaking into the Collingwood lineup during his time at Victoria Park. After managing just three senior appearances for the Magpies in the 2004 season, he was delisted but quickly offered a lifeline by Hawthorn, who selected him with pick 70 in the 2004 National Draft. Nixon joined the Hawks as they entered a significant rebuilding phase under new coach Alastair Clarkson, yet he was unable to translate his junior promise into a consistent AFL career. He added just one more game to his tally in the brown and gold during the 2005 season before being delisted for a final time, finishing his brief career as a depth player who managed four games across two clubs.
