Bio
Recruited via the unique GWS mini-draft pathway, Brad Crouch arrived at Adelaide as a highly touted teenager from the North Ballarat Rebels, forced to wait a season before making his debut due to age restrictions. Once unleashed, he quickly established himself as a key pillar of the Crows' engine room, playing a hard-edged, contested brand of football alongside his younger brother, Matt. His time in South Australia was defined by both brilliance and frustration; he was a central figure in Adelaide's run to the 2017 Grand Final and captured the Malcolm Blight Medal as the club's best and fairest in 2019, yet frequently battled groin and hamstring issues that interrupted his continuity.
After exercising his rights as a restricted free agent, Crouch moved to St Kilda ahead of the 2021 season to add experienced grunt to the Saints' midfield. He immediately became a reliable ball-winner and high-volume tackler at Moorabbin, finishing on the podium in the club's best and fairest count during his first year. While he provided valuable leadership and consistent clearance work for the Saints, his body eventually succumbed to the rigours of his inside playstyle. Following a 2024 campaign severely limited by a degenerative knee condition, Crouch was forced to call time on his 161-game career.
