Bio
Recruited from South Adelaide with pick 20 in the 1986 National Draft, Brenton Harris arrived at Arden Street as the younger brother of North Melbourne utility Darren Harris. Standing 185cm, he was the only player from the Roos' 1986 draft haul to eventually reach senior level, breaking into the side late in the 1988 season. Harris showed immediate potential on debut against Footscray, gathering 19 disposals in a heavy loss, and retained his spot for a draw against Collingwood the following week. However, his promising start was derailed by a severe anterior cruciate ligament injury, which forced him out of the game without adding to his two career appearances.
