Bio
Recruited from the Imperials Football Club in Murray Bridge, South Australia, Brian Lienert was a follower who joined Richmond for a brief stint in the early 1960s. He managed only two senior appearances across the 1963 and 1964 seasons, unable to cement a regular spot in the Tigers' lineup before departing Punt Road. While his own VFL career was short-lived, he established a family legacy at the elite level, with his son Brett later playing over 50 games for St Kilda and the Adelaide Crows in the 1990s.
