Bio
Recruited from Sturt in the SANFL with pick 58 in the 1998 National Draft, Chad Davis was a skilled left-footed utility who operated primarily across half-forward and the wing. After developing in the reserves, he broke into the St Kilda senior side in 2000 and enjoyed his most consistent campaign in 2001, playing 21 games and demonstrating clean ball use and goal sense. However, he struggled to retain his spot the following season during a period of significant list turnover at Moorabbin and was delisted at the end of 2002. Davis subsequently returned to the SANFL, where he forged a successful long-term career as a premiership player and captain for the Double Blues.
