Bio
Selected by North Melbourne with pick 24 in the 2002 National Draft, Chad Jones was a key forward prospect known for his strong overhead marking and accurate set shot. The older brother of West Coast premiership defender Brett Jones, Chad found senior opportunities scarce at Arden Street, managing just six games over three seasons before securing a trade back to his home state of Western Australia at the end of 2006. Joining his sibling at the Eagles, he hoped to cement a spot in the forward line but remained on the fringe of selection, adding only seven games to his career tally. While he became a prolific goal-kicker at WAFL level for Claremont, Jones was unable to translate that dominance to the AFL arena consistently and was delisted by West Coast following the 2008 season.
