Bio
Charlie Bradford is a mobile key forward who emerged as a reliable attacking target for West Adelaide and South Australia in his draft year. Hailing from Mitcham, Bradford established himself in the SANFL Talent League for the Bloods, which earned him a place in the state pathway. He boasts a strong football pedigree as the grandson of 1962 Brownlow Medallist Alistair Lord and the cousin of Port Adelaide forward Ollie Lord.
Bradford showcased his scoreboard impact during the National Championships, highlighted by a standout four-goal performance in South Australia's commanding win over the Allies. At 192cm, he is praised for his strong hands in the air and his intelligent leading patterns inside 50. Scouts have noted his excellent work rate, which allows him to present high up the ground and provide a crucial marking link in transition. While he possesses a deep bag of tricks as a forward threat, coaches have encouraged him to build his ground-level game and find more ways to win the ball outside of marking contests. Bradford's promising season was recognised with an invitation to the state draft combine, keeping him in the mix as a prospective late or rookie draft selection.
