Bio
Developing his football with Geelong Amateur and Geelong College, Charlie Hanegraaf progressed to the Talent League with the Geelong Falcons. The powerful general forward and midfielder played well enough to earn selection for Vic Country at the 2026 National Championships. While he did not consistently dominate full games during his draft year, he produced several standout moments, most notably kicking a match-winning goal for the Falcons in round two of the season.
Hanegraaf is known for his clean ball handling, offensive flair and power in the contest. Primarily a forward who can push up to the midfield, he uses his burst from stoppages to extract possession cleanly, while his strong overhead leap and quick hands make him a reliable marking target inside 50. Although scouts have praised his ability to make things happen in space, they note he will need to build his four-quarter consistency to heavily influence full matches. Showing enough upside to appeal to recruiters, Hanegraaf is generally rated as a draftable prospect who sits just outside the top 50.
