Bio
The son of AFL games record holder Brent Harvey, Cooper Harvey joined North Melbourne as a father-son selection in the 2022 National Draft, carrying the heavy expectations associated with his famous surname. Utilised primarily as a high-pressure forward who could rotate through the midfield, he displayed natural goal sense and competitiveness, averaging better than a goal a game across his limited opportunities at the top level. Despite showing glimpses of talent and the tenacity characteristic of his family, Harvey struggled to secure a permanent spot in the Kangaroos' best 22, often finding himself on the fringe of selection while dominating in the VFL. After four seasons on the list where he added depth but could not break through for sustained senior football, his time at Arden Street concluded at the end of 2026.
