Bio
Recruited from Wodonga in the Ovens & Murray Football League, David Ceglar was a tall utility who briefly featured for North Melbourne during the mid-1980s. Standing 193cm, he found opportunities limited in a Kangaroos side well-stocked with key position players, managing just seven senior games as a ruckman and forward across three seasons at Arden Street. While unable to secure a long-term tenure at the top level, he remains a notable figure in football circles as the father of ruckman Jonathon Ceglar, who played over 100 AFL games for Hawthorn and Geelong.
