Bio
Recruited from the Eastern Ranges with pick 30 in the 2004 National Draft, Fabian Deluca is a towering ruckman and the younger brother of former Carlton player Adrian Deluca. Arriving at Alberton immediately following the club's maiden AFL premiership, he faced the difficult task of dislodging the established premiership ruck duo of Brendon Lade and Dean Brogan to earn senior selection. Consequently, the 203cm big man found opportunities scarce, serving a long apprenticeship in the SANFL while managing only sporadic appearances at the top level. Unable to secure a regular spot in the rotation, Deluca was eventually delisted by the Power at the conclusion of the 2008 season after just 11 career games.
