Bio
Recruited from Casterton in the Western District, Frank Pattison was one of many country footballers trialled by St Kilda during the club's lean post-war era. He earned his senior debut in the opening round of the 1951 season against Footscray, retaining his place in the side for the first month of football. Despite this initial run of four consecutive matches, he was unable to cement a long-term position in the lineup and was omitted following a Round 4 loss to Essendon. Pattison did not reappear at VFL level after that brief stint, eventually departing the Saints as a one-year player.
