Bio
Arriving at North Melbourne with the weight of a famous lineage, Glenn Dugdale was the son of club legend and former captain John Dugdale. Recruited from Doncaster Heights, the imposing ruckman stood 193cm and offered a strong physical presence in the contest, often drifting forward to provide a marking target in attack. While he possessed the size and pedigree to compete at the top level, Dugdale found it difficult to command a permanent position in a Kangaroos lineup stacked with star quality during the early 1980s. He notably featured on the list alongside his brother Dean, extending the family's connection to Arden Street, before eventually departing the VFL to ply his trade with Brunswick in the VFA.
