Bio
Recruited from Sea Lake in Victoria's Mallee region, Greg Daniels was a mid-sized forward who earned a brief run at senior level during Collingwood's tumultuous 1986 campaign. He made his debut in the Round 1 blockbuster against Essendon and managed to hold his spot for the first five consecutive games of the season, kicking a goal in each of his first two appearances. Daniels’ short career bridged a significant moment in Magpies history, as he played the final games of the Bob Rose era and the first two matches of Leigh Matthews' tenure as coach. Despite a respectable return of five goals from five games, he was omitted after the Round 5 loss to Carlton and was unable to break back into a side undergoing a ruthless list transformation.
