Bio
A lifelong Essendon supporter recruited from the Calder Cannons with pick 30 in the 2019 National Draft, Harrison Jones emerged as an athletic key forward capable of providing a dynamic target inside 50. While he showed immediate promise with his strong overhead marking and elite endurance during his breakout 2021 campaign, his time at Tullamarine was frequently interrupted by frustrating injury setbacks, particularly stress fractures in his foot and back that hampered his continuity. Unlike a traditional stay-at-home full forward, Jones often utilized his aerobic capacity to work high up the ground, serving as a vital structural link between the midfield and the forward line. Despite his obvious talent and work rate, his career has been defined by a battle for durability, leaving him constantly fighting to stay on the park and cement a permanent role in the Bombers' attack.
