Bio
A lifelong Bluebagger with a fascinating family link to the club, Harry O'Farrell arrived at Princes Park via pick 40 in the 2024 National Draft. His father, Peter, famously acted as the legal counsel who overturned Patrick Cripps’ suspension in 2022, clearing the path for the skipper's first Brownlow Medal. Developing through the Calder Cannons program as a swingman, O'Farrell settled as a 197cm key defender who excels at reading the flight of the ball and taking intercept marks. He broke into the senior side to manage a handful of games early in his career, utilised primarily to plug gaps in the defensive tall stocks while occasionally drifting forward to hit the scoreboard. Viewed as a long-term prospect for the key defensive posts, he currently serves as a developing tall learning his craft behind the club's established backline leaders.
