Bio
Jett Elek is a towering 201cm prospect from the Geelong Falcons in the Coates Talent League. Hailing from Lara before crossing to Leopold at local level, the 19-year-old overage prospect put together a consistent 2026 campaign. He was rewarded with selection for Vic Country at the National Championships, making four appearances and cementing himself as a reliable tall for his state.
While developed as a key defender, Elek showcased immense versatility this season by carrying ruck duties and providing a dangerous target up forward. Scouts have lauded his mobility for a player of his size, praising his strong overhead marking ability both inside 50 and around the ground. A willing competitor at centre bounces, he also does some of his best work outside the contest to help link up play. His well-rounded development across all zones earned him an invitation to the Victorian state draft combine, putting him on the radar of clubs searching for a versatile big man late in the national draft or as a rookie selection.
