Bio
Selected in the 2021 Rookie Draft from the Bendigo Pioneers, Josh Treacy initially carved out a niche as a physically imposing key forward who applied immense defensive pressure rarely seen in players of his size. While he spent his early seasons oscillating between the senior side and the WAFL to develop his aerobic capacity, Treacy enjoyed a definitive breakout campaign in 2024, establishing himself as the focal point of the Dockers' attack. Known affectionately as "The Big Cohuna," his playing style is defined by a willingness to crash packs, strong contested marking, and a penetrating right boot. Having committed his long-term future to the club, Treacy has matured from a cult figure into a genuine leader and structural pillar inside Fremantle's forward 50.
