Bio
A product of the Brisbane Lions Academy who moved from the Northern Territory to Queensland as a teenager, Keidean Coleman joined the senior list after the club matched a bid for him in the 2019 National Draft. While he initially rotated through the forward line, he established himself as an elite rebounding defender, renowned for his composure and a lethal left boot that became the primary launchpad for Brisbaneโs transition game. Coleman produced a career-best performance in the 2023 Grand Final, finishing second in Norm Smith Medal voting despite the narrow loss, but suffered a cruel blow the following season when an ACL injury in Opening Round forced him to miss the Lions' 2024 premiership triumph. Now fully re-established in the side, he remains one of the competition's most damaging ball-users and a critical architect of the Lions' defence.
