Bio
Born in Kyogle, New South Wales, Keith Fleming was a forward who struggled to establish a permanent senior career during the early 1930s. After breaking into the VFL with Fitzroy in 1930, he found opportunities scarce at the Brunswick Street Oval and crossed to Hawthorn for the 1932 season in search of regular game time. His stint with the Mayblooms proved brief, yielding just three appearances before he eventually returned to the Maroons in 1934. Despite showing some aptitude around goal, Fleming was unable to break out of the fringe player mould, concluding his disjointed five-year VFL tenure with just seven games to his name.
